Lincoln is a township made of individual villages, and the majority of those villages are relics of the days of water-powered mills along the Blackstone River.

Some of the more interesting attractions in Lincoln include Lincoln Woods state park, the greyhound racetrack Lincoln Park, and Lincoln Mall. Community College of Rhode Island has a campus in Lincoln, and there is a small state airport for private planes there. But perhaps the most interesting part of Lincoln is the Blackstone River and the Parks and bike paths along the old Blackstone River Canal.
